Supply Chain Manager
Supply Chain Managers are in charge of keeping track and updating inventory. They analyze operational performance and resolve issues that arise along the way with vendors or suppliers if necessary to ensure quality standards stay high throughout each operation, including shipping.
Job Responsibilities
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyze data from delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Job Requirements
- 8-10 years of Textile and Apparel background.
- Knowledge about yarn, fabric and apparel sourcing/procurement both in India as well acrossborders.
- Scout new vendors and establish partnerships to execute orders.
- Experience in developing new yarn, fabric & apparel
