Ludwig van Beethoven 1770-1827

King of kings composers Ludwig van Beethoven came out so newborn babies in 1770 in the city of Bonn, Germany. Childhood is evident extraordinary musical talent and music book creations first appeared in 1783. In adolescence he visited Vienna and introduced to Mozart but the encounter of both short-lived. 1792 Beethoven returned to Vienna and while she studied music by Haydn who was then famous Viennese composers (Mozart died a year earlier). Beethoven settled in Vienna, for the rest of his life. Beethoven’s music taste is high as the impressive piano player every listeners and he succeeded both as players and teachers. Soon he became a prolific creator of music as well. His work can be a good reception. From the age of mid twenties upwards, he was able to publish and sell books music creation without any difficulty.
When Beethoven was at the end of the twenties, his deafness signs began to appear. No doubt this phenomenon is very disturbing the young composer. Deaf for a music creator truly a disaster. Once desire arises only going to kill himself.

The years between 1802-1815 is often considered the middle of Beethoven’s career. During the break, the result of his deafness escalated, she began to withdraw from the association community. This sickness make sure people have the impression that Beethoven did not really anti-human, anti-society, hate hanging out. He was involved with the romance that often with young girls but it seems that all these relationships end up unhappy and never married.

The work of Beethoven’s own music craze productive. The years keep going but the attention it receives more and more popular shrinkage which would have created a composer like him in those days. However, his success continued to climb.

At the age of forty to one hundred percent deaf Beethoven. As a result, he never  appeared in public and getting away from society. Results of his work fewer and more difficult at comprehend. Since then he created especially for himself and a few listeners who have the ideal future. He once told a music critic, “this creation is not for you but for the heredity.”

This is a cruel irony of fate that a most gifted composer of all time should such a calamity strikes deafness. Had Beethoven with the power of non-human willpower – in ketuliannya it – continues to keep the quality of his musical compositions, this will be a thing of stunning and brilliant. But more surprising than the fact that envisaged in the years of total deafness, Beethoven did not just create the same with what comes before, but is generally considered to be the result of his greatest. He died in Vienna in 1827 at age fifty-seven years.

Beethoven, which are many including 9 symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, five piano concertos, 10 sonatas for piano and violin, a series of stunning string quartet, vocal music, musical theater, and more. But, more important than the number of his creations are in terms of quality. His work is an extraordinary combination of depth of feeling with the perfection of governance of plans. Beethoven demonstrate that instrumental music could no longer be considered only got a second artistic value. This is evidenced from the formulation of compositions that have been raised to the level of instrumental music was a very high artistic value.

Ludwig van Beethoven’s original manuscript. Beethoven is really a topnotch original creator and many changes made and the introduction of a lasting influence. He expanded the size of an orchestra. He adds length symphonies and expand the power jangkaunya. By demonstrating an almost unlimited possibilities that can be produced by the piano, he helped make the piano was the most prominent musical instrument. Beethoven’s opening round of the transition from classical to romantic music style and his work is a source of inspiration for the romantic style.

He planted menghunjam power influence on self-composer composers who came later, including characters who have different styles such as Brahms, Wagner, Schubert and Tchaikovsky. He also paved the way for Berlioz, Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss and many others. Real true, Beethoven must be placed above any other musician in the list order this book. Although Johann Sebastian Bach almost have equal privileges, Beethoven’s broader and more often heard than Bach’s creation. Moreover, a number of improvements have conducted Beethoven’s more profound influence on the further development of music than the work of Bach.

In general, ethical and political ideas more easily described in words rather than music and literature. Got the sphere of influence wider than the music. On the basis of these considerations Beethoven – although topnotch figures in music history – is placed in a lower order than Shakespeare. In terms of comparison between Beethoven and Michelangelo, I am very influenced by the fact that most people use the time to listen to more music than looking at a painting or sculpture sculptures, and on the basis of this reason as well, I think the composer-music composers are generally more influential than the painter or sculptor of fame in their respective field equivalent. As a result, it seems quite feasible to place Beethoven in sequence between Shakespeare and Michelangelo.

Piano Basic Step

We will learn the basic minimum knowledge needed to play a musical instrument, especially piano. If you already understand this basic, you can pass it. Our discussion will be divided in two parts below. You “must” know and understand these concepts. Do not be afraid, it’s really easy . And get ready .. you will play the first track immediately

  • Keyboard

The first in a piano course materials certainly are familiar with the names of keys on the keyboard. It’s not as complicated as envisaged. There are 12 unique keys on the keyboard that are named in alphabetical from A to G. In short, first learned the name of the position of the white button now. Look closely, you should do in front of a real keyboard. When you’ve felt has been adept at understanding the name and position of these keys, try to close your eyes first. Press any white key , open your eyes again and just answer what button you press earlier.

  • Chord and Scale

Chord is a collection of notes that are played (pressed) simultaneously. Easy right? The number of notes are played depends on the type of his chords, while the scale is a sequence of notes. example. the famous Scale is C Major scale, which you can play now. Begin pressing the C and play every white button until you get the C button on it again .. You certainly do not hear the familiar tone sequence of this scale .. Yeah right? :-)

That’s only one scale alone of the several hundred other scale. Do not be frightened for the first, the good news, we just need to know some kind of scale can play a song just for pop and rock.

Does Music Help Children?

Why is Music Important for Kids?

This question has been debated for as long as time has existed. Even the great Greek and Roman philosophers approached the question: is music something that should be taught and does it help the development of children? Plato answered “I would teach children music, physics, and philosophy; but most importantly music, for in the patterns of music and all arts are the keys to learning.” And again “what then is the education to be? Perhaps we could hardly find a better than that which the experience of the past has already discovered, which consists, I believe, in gymnastic, for the body, and music for the mind.”

In all cultures of the world music plays an important role. While these roles may change depending on the culture it is impossible to separate music from the life of an individual. While some may argue the role of music in our lives it is impossible to escape it. Even in the popular culture of Australia it is impossible to go shopping without hearing music. Music provides a means of communication and expression of culture and individual identity.

Children are immersed in music from birth and will be for their entire life. If this is the case why teach it? Is not the constant immersion in music enough? To this I say; is the fact that we witness the results of scientific principals on a day to day basis result in the understanding of those scientific principles? No it does not and likewise for music it does not either. The day to day encounters we have with music can move us but the understanding of this music can help us grow as individuals.

In many cultures the family plays the main role in music education. Families are most commonly the ones that teach children the music of their culture. As young children, we are commonly sung nursery rhymes. These provide entertainment for the child and often information in small repeated fashion. Children learn through the repetition and structure that the information was delivered in. many nursery rhymes teach fundamental life lesson and therefore sets music up as a means of educating. Children learn from music from a young age and will continue to for the rest of their lives. In a world where globalization and consumerism are dominating cultural identities are drifting into the background and children are more likely to be sung pop songs as lullaby’s than nursery rhymes. The benefit of nursery rhymes and progressive learning has become an issue. Children are missing out on fundamental learning opportunities.

The Mozart effect which gained a large following in the 1990’s claimed that listening to Mozart as a baby will make a child smarter. While this movement was short lived and there is little proof that it works there has been no denying that children who learn music will achieve higher in other aspects of their academic life. In earning music children learn to express their identities, gain confidence and develop sense of time and space. A research team at the university of Munster in Germany discovered that students who study music have more developed abstract reasoning skills which are closely linked to learning in the areas of science and maths.

I do not believe that there is any argument to this question…music is a vital part of a child’s education and should be taken seriously. Listening to music is not enough! A child must learn to think musically and that is what will help assist the development of the child and their academic development.
